I am disgraceful

I am a disgrace to foodies around the world. Recently, I have done nothing to further myself into foodiedum. I have not cooked, I have not sipped wine, I have not thumbed through the pages of gourmet. I have eaten hot dogs, potato chips, chocolate covered pretzels. I have ordered pizza. Just cheese. Not even any interesting toppings. I am ashamed. And, I once again must ask for your forgiveness. It's becoming a habit, I know. I will do my best to get back on track. I can't promise anything in the near future as I am working the next week straight, but after that, you can hold me to my promise. For now, let's just look at this photo and remember the good old days.

You are so very forgiven, I think it's great that you want to blog about food and I think it's great that you are blogging about the realities of not blogging about food. Keep up the great non blogging about food, and the great occasional blogging about food. This comes from someone who lives one life in her head and an entirely different life in reality.

Don't worry. You can't be a foodie every single moment of every single day. Besides what respectful foodie can't appreciate a good delievered cheese pizza or chocolate covered something or other from time to time?

We all do it. We're not all so strong as to be honest about it in our blogging, but be sure that we all do it ;)

It's not the type of food that makes you a foodie but your love of it.

Hot dogs, chips and pizza (even cheese) have their own reason for celebrating.

Even Ruth Reichel has off foodie days I'm sure.

Jumping on the bandwagon here, I think the definition of a foodie is someone who truly appreciates the difference between a high quality meal versus just any old food.

So it's not so much about eating non-junk food 100% of the time, but really appreciating those times when you do get to eat something special.

Where do you get these pictures? Are they from some far away, Martha Stewart, homemaker, fantasy planet? Who dresses like this?

I love pizza. I will take it any way I can get it. And I prefer just cheese for any NY slice. (I eat toppings too tho.) Pizza! Pizza!

I love the apron! Your kitchen looks so organized, mine could use some spicing up. Keep blogging. Your blogs are down to earth and the photos are fabulous.
